About us

The Institut für angewandte Ökologie GmbH (Institute for Applied Ecology), based in Vogelsberg in Hessen, was founded in 1991 by Dr. Ulrich Schwevers. Since then, the enterprise has established itself as a competent environmental services provider in the fields of applied aquatic ecology and hydraulic engineering. Due to numerous field studies using state-of-the-art technologies, in-house research, various technical developments, and numerous specialist publications, the Institut für angewandte Ökologie GmbH is recognized internationally.
